G at the Prom

I had trouble with this entry. It was colder than I expected while shooting this afternoon. A few of the shots were overexposed (because I forgot my glasses.) I couldn't get them to crop as I wanted at first--as if my eyes and the computer were working from two different brains--thus the various image shapes below. Finally, they seemed too small in the preview, and again, and again, and again. I've made them as large as I dare. Some of the details still look odd to me--even with my glasses-- so maybe it's my computer.
The little girl was also having a trying day and was smack in the middle of a tantrum when dragged from the car to play, and she stood at the stairs screaming until the sun peeked out and her mother lured her out to the dunes and beach beyond.
