A perfect ending to another roller coaster week:  martinis and a fabulous dinner at dear friend Marga's. Teddy (pictured) and shy Kitty-poo are always charming, and the river views calm me right down.  Marga and husband, Tom, asked me to pet-sit here last year and stay at this beautiful condo (now for sale.) I was surprised to see that the river is so greatly affected by the ocean tides, though this is only 1/4 mile from the estuary, and you can see the ocean to the west.  The wildlife is fascinating--salmon jumping, gulls diving, ducks paddling, a heron couple nesting.  Marga said a sea lion swam by this week.  Thank you, Marga.
